The EAE RCU2018 KNX Room Control Unit is an all-in-one DIN-rail actuator for hotel rooms, apartments, and commercial spaces. The flagship EAE Room Control Unit: 20 × 16 A relay outputs and 18 universal input channels in five output groups — maximum single-module room I/O for GRMS and luxury hospitality.

From a single module it controls lighting, blinds, fan coils, and optional dry-contact inputs where fitted. The RCU2018 is bus-powered (no external auxiliary supply required) and switches resistive, capacitive, and inductive loads in accordance with EN 60669, including fluorescent lamp loads at 16 A / 250 V AC.

Choosing EAE Room Control Units

The RCU2018 is the top of the RCU range (20+18). For output-only at 20 relays, choose RCU2000. For compact-line rooms, the RCU1212 (12+12) may suffice. For 20 outputs without inputs, choose the EAE RCU2000. Entry-level room control starts with the RCU0800 (8 outputs).

EAE naming: RCUXXYY where XX = output count and YY = input count (0 = output-only). All models share the KNX Room Control Unit v2.0 ETS application.
