The ACGDAI100 Daikin KNX Gateway integrates Daikin air conditioners into a KNX building automation system. The gateway connects to the indoor unit via the Daikin P1/P2 HomeBus port (9–24 V DC) and communicates on the KNX twisted-pair bus, enabling centralized control of mode, setpoint, fan speed, and on/off from KNX switches, touch panels, schedules, and logic.

The controller supports configurable Master or Slave mode, allowing the AC unit to be managed by the original Daikin wall controller and the KNX bus simultaneously. An Energy Saving mode, scene functions, and built-in logic blocks support hotel GRMS, residential, and commercial HVAC strategies — including external reference temperature from KNX room sensors and automatic state restoration after a bus voltage interruption.

Installation Notes

The gateway mounts in or near the Daikin indoor unit enclosure. Use only the supplied 40 cm P1/P2 cable — extending or shortening it can cause malfunction. Route the cable away from mains wiring and earth conductors. Confirm model compatibility in the P1/P2 Compatibility List before installation.
