The EAE RCU0808 KNX Room Control Unit is an all-in-one DIN-rail actuator for hotel rooms, apartments, and commercial spaces. Combines 8 × 16 A relay outputs with 8 galvanically isolated universal input channels in one module — ideal when conventional push-buttons or dry contacts must be wired alongside room actuation.

From a single module it controls lighting, blinds, fan coils, and optional dry-contact inputs where fitted. The RCU0808 is bus-powered (no external auxiliary supply required) and switches resistive, capacitive, and inductive loads in accordance with EN 60669, including fluorescent lamp loads at 16 A / 250 V AC.

Applications and KNX Integration

Choosing EAE Room Control Units

The RCU0808 adds 8 universal inputs to the output-only RCU0800. For 12 outputs choose RCU1200 (output-only) or RCU1212 (with inputs). For output-only at the same 8-relay capacity, see the EAE RCU0800. For 12 relay outputs, choose the RCU1200.

EAE naming: RCUXXYY where XX = output count and YY = input count (0 = output-only). All models share the KNX Room Control Unit v2.0 ETS application.
