Need help choosing the right gateway?
The EAE DA100 KNX–DALI gateway is the interface between a KNX automation system and a DALI lighting installation. It is designed for full DALI management in line with IEC 62386 and gives integrators structured control, scene storage, and diagnostic feedback across the DALI line.
A notable advantage of the DA100 is its integrated DALI power supply, which removes the need for a separate DALI PSU in many cabinets and reduces wiring complexity. The device supports up to 64 DALI loads (electronic control gear, LED drivers, and compatible ballasts) on one DALI bus and organizes them into 16 independent DALI groups, with support for 64 lighting scenes for flexible automation and manual recall patterns.
The DA100 targets commercial and larger residential schemes where group-oriented lighting, maintenance visibility, and extended DALI features (such as corridor and constant-light strategies) are part of the specification.
The EAE DA100 is parameterized for KNX-side communication objects while DALI-side grouping and extended features are supported via the EAE DALI commissioning tool.
Depending on application configuration, the following classes of function are available per group or device, subject to EAE application limits:
