The ABB Busch-Smoke Alarm ProfessionalLINE Networkable (6833/01-84-500) is a photo-optical smoke detector for early detection of smouldering and open fires with smoke build-up indoors. Like the standalone ProfessionalLINE, it uses the Tyndall measuring principle and a sealed-in lithium battery rated for at least 10 years — and adds cable and radio networking for whole-home or multi-zone alarm linking.

Studio-white finish (RAL 9016). VdS certified with “Q” label (VdS 3131 / vfdb 14-01). For a non-networkable single-room unit, see 6833-84-500.

• 2-wire interconnect: Wire multiple 6833/01 detectors so an alarm on one unit triggers the others (max. 20).
• Radio mesh: Fit the 6828 Busch-Smoke Alarm RF module when cable runs are impractical.

• Relay interface: Optional 6829-84 alarm relay module for external signalling.
• Standalone alternative: Rooms that never need linking can use the lower-cost 6833-84-500.

Installation Notes

Surface-mounted ceiling detector (Ø 120 mm, height 47.5 mm). Install per DIN 14676 placement rules. Suitable for dry indoor rooms only. Plan interconnect cabling or RF modules before mounting when networking is required.
