The ABB Busch-Smoke Alarm RF Radio Module (order code 6828) is a plug-in 868 MHz radio module for wireless networking of Busch-Smoke alarm and heat alarm detectors. One module per detector links up to 20 radio participants so that an alarm on any device is forwarded to the entire group.

A permanently installed lithium battery provides at least 10 years of service life. Certified by the KRIWAN Testing Center and suitable for VdS guideline 3515 applications. With the ABB-free@home® Alarm-Stick, detectors can also signal into external free@home systems.

Installation Notes

Remove the detector from its mounting plate, insert the radio module into the detector recess with correct plug orientation, and route the antenna cable as shown in the ABB instructions.
