The EAE RCU1616 KNX Room Control Unit is an all-in-one DIN-rail actuator for hotel rooms, apartments, and commercial spaces. Combines 16 × 16 A relay outputs with 16 universal input channels in the 180 mm housing — full-room I/O for premium hotel suites and complex residential zones.

From a single module it controls lighting, blinds, fan coils, and optional dry-contact inputs where fitted. The RCU1616 is bus-powered (no external auxiliary supply required) and switches resistive, capacitive, and inductive loads in accordance with EN 60669, including fluorescent lamp loads at 16 A / 250 V AC.

Choosing EAE Room Control Units

The RCU1616 is the symmetric 16+16 wide-body model. For output-only, choose RCU1600. For the maximum 20-output line, see RCU2018. For 16 outputs without inputs, choose the EAE RCU1600. For 20 outputs + 18 inputs, choose the RCU2018.

EAE naming: RCUXXYY where XX = output count and YY = input count (0 = output-only). All models share the KNX Room Control Unit v2.0 ETS application.
