The EAE MIOLA 10″ KNX Touch Screen Back Box is the required in-wall mounting accessory for the EAE MIOLA 10″ KNX Touch Screen. The MIOLA panel is designed for flush in-wall installation only — this back box provides the recessed cavity for cabling, connectors, and the panel's rear electronics.

The mounting box is installed first, aligned vertically in the wall opening. Cables are connected to the panel connectors inside the box, magnets are adjusted for a flush fit, and the touch panel clips onto the front. The box is sold separately from the MIOLA panel.

Installation Sequence

1. Insert the MIOLA 10″ mounting box into the wall opening — align vertically.
2. Switch off mains voltage before connecting cables.
3. Connect KNX-TP, Ethernet, power, and input cables to the panel connectors inside the box.
4. Adjust mounting magnets for a perfect flush fit.
5. Mount the MIOLA 10″ touch panel onto the box.

Choosing MIOLA Accessories

This back box is specific to the 10.1″ MIOLA KNX-TP panel. Order one box per panel. Power the KNX segment from an EAE PS640 Power Supply; the panel itself accepts 12–30 V DC auxiliary power.
