The ABB JSB/S1.1 Shutter Control Unit is an MDRC KNX sun-position controller for automatic façade shading. It calculates solar geometry for up to four façades and drives blind/shutter actuators for anti-glare and daylight redirection.

It is a logic/controller, not a motor actuator — pair with JRA/S4.230.2.2 or similar shutter actuators. Optional weather input via WES/A4.1.1.

Installation Notes

Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail (2 MW). Connect KNX and configure façade geometry in ETS. Link group addresses to JRA/JA shutter actuators.
