The ABB KNX Presence Detector Mini (series 6131/20-xxx-500) is a compact ceiling-mounted presence and movement detector for ABB i-bus® KNX projects. With 360° detection, 2 independent channels, and integrated constant light control, it manages up to two lighting zones based on occupancy and measured room brightness — ideal for energy-efficient office, corridor, and meeting-room automation.

The discreet matt housing suits surface mounting or false-ceiling installation with a Ø 68 mm cut-out. An integrated KNX bus coupler eliminates the need for a separate coupler unit. Available in white, aluminium, and black finishes.

Circular detection diameter (Ø) varies with ceiling height:

• At 2.5 m: Seated persons up to Ø 5 m; walking persons up to Ø 6.5 m.
• At 3 m: Seated persons up to Ø 6.5 m; walking persons up to Ø 8 m.
• At 4 m: Seated persons up to Ø 9 m; walking persons up to Ø 10.5 m.

• ETS configuration: Import the official .knxprod application (Downloads), set detection zones, brightness thresholds, and channel assignments.

Installation Notes

Suitable for surface mounting or false ceilings with board thickness 9 … 25 mm and hole size Ø 68 mm. Optimum mounting height is 2 m. Not suitable for British Standard or VDE flush-mounted boxes — ABB recommends a dedicated installation housing for flush-mount applications.
