The HDL M/S04.1 KNX 4-Zone Dry Contact Module is a compact flush-mount interface with four input channels and four output channels. Inputs accept dry-contact triggers (push buttons, contacts) or the dedicated HDL TTS/APR1.0 temperature sensor; outputs deliver 0–10 V DC dimming to ballasts/drivers or drive channel LED status indicators.

Three ETS working modes — sensor, logic, and 0–10 V dimming — support switch, dimming, shutter, scene, sequence, threshold, PWM, and combination control types. The module fits standard switch boxes at just 50 × 50 × 13 mm and draws only 5 mA from the KNX bus.

Applications and KNX Integration

• Retrofit push buttons: Bring existing wall switches into KNX without replacing plates.
• 0–10 V lighting: Drive fluorescent or LED drivers that accept 0–10 V — complement phase dimming actuators where 0–10 V is required.
• Room temperature: Feed TTS/APR1.0 values to HVAC logic alongside M/IS05.1 sensors.
• Panel feedback: Drive LED rings on multigang switches via channel status outputs.

Choosing HDL Input Modules

The M/S04.1 combines four dry contacts and four 0–10 V outputs in one 50 mm module — ideal when both conventional inputs and analogue dimming are needed in a single wall box. For PIR/lux sensing, add M/IS05.1 or M/WS05.1; for IR control, use M/IRAC.1.
