The Interra ITR832-0012 KNX–DALI Gateway is a dual-channel interface between a KNX installation and two independent DALI lighting lines — the without-Ethernet coding of the ITR832-00X2 family. An internal DALI power supply feeds each line; up to 2 × 64 DALI devices (128 total) can be addressed, with 16 groups and 16 scenes per channel. Control is individual, group or broadcast from ETS. Interra’s family datasheet states explicitly: ITR832-0011 & ITR832-0012 have no Ethernet port. USB and KNX remain available; choose ITR832-0002 when Ethernet remote update / web access is required.

Compatible device types include DT0, DT1, DT6 and DT8 (TC / RGB / RGBW). Independent emergency lighting per EN 62386-202 is supported; function and duration tests can be triggered from KNX with feedback to the bus. Addressing via ETS or front buttons, ballast group assignment in ETS, faulty ballast/lamp detection, KNX/DALI voltage status objects, and Tunable White / RGB(W) colour control follow the same Interra KNX–DALI application family as the Ethernet codings. Two separate DALI channel connectors allow independent topology on each line.

Applications and KNX Integration

• Two-zone lighting without Ethernet service: Same dual-line capacity as ITR832-0002 when Ethernet is not required on the gateway.
• Sister Interra gateways: With Ethernet ITR832-0002; single without Ethernet ITR832-0011; single with Ethernet ITR832-0001.

Choosing and Commissioning

Choose ITR832-0012 for two DALI lines without Ethernet. If you need Ethernet remote update / web commissioning, order ITR832-0002 instead. Wire each DALI channel with correct polarity; supply the gateway from 110–240 V AC (L/N/PE) and mount on a dry-location DIN rail.
