The Interra ITR830-0002 Daikin Split AC KNX Gateway is an air-conditioning interface for monitoring and controlling the functional parameters of Daikin Split indoor units over the KNX bus. One side connects to the indoor-unit electronics (via the Daikin S21 adapter path shown in the Interra datasheet); the other side connects directly to the KNX twisted-pair line for bidirectional integration with ETS, visualisation and hotel / residential BMS.

Compatible models are those sold by Daikin and classified as Split in the Interra compatibility list (see Downloads) — do not use this SKU for Daikin Sky / VRV systems (use ITR830-0003). The gateway can be installed inside the indoor unit or in a nearby enclosure; Interra specifies a maximum AC-side cable length of 1500 mm. On-board 4 logic blocks (AND / OR / XOR, up to 4 inputs each) and 8 converters (four math operations per converter) support energy-saving routines, scenes and temperature limits without extra bus devices. The Daikin unit reports error notifications on KNX for exceptional faults.

Applications and KNX Integration

• Hotels & residential: One gateway per addressed Split indoor unit; pair with Interra room panels such as iX3 or iX2.
• Daikin Sky / VRV: Use ITR830-0003 — not ITR830-0002.
• Other brands on Smartanix: ITR830-0012 Gree Split, ITR830-0013 Midea VRF, ITR830-0004 Mitsubishi Heavy.
• Bus power: Size the line with a suitable KNX supply (e.g. ITR900 640 mA) when many gateways share a segment.

Choosing and Commissioning

Always verify the indoor model against Interra’s official Compatibility List before ordering. Commission with the Interra ETS application for ITR830-0002 (S-Mode).
