The HDL M/IPRT.1 KNX net/IP Router connects a KNX TP1 twisted-pair line to a KNXnet/IP Ethernet backbone. It exchanges telegrams between the IP network and the bus, supports ETS download and monitoring, and can operate as a line or backbone coupler with filter-table control for segmented installations.

Fast data caching, delivery validation, and up to 4 debugging/monitoring channels make the router suitable for commissioning and diagnostics. A front-panel function key temporarily disables data filtering for troubleshooting; filtering restores automatically after a preset time. Six dual-colour LEDs indicate LAN, KNX, and routing status.

Choosing HDL IP Infrastructure

The M/IPRT.1 is HDL's compact 2 SU IP router for standard KNXnet/IP routing and ETS tunneling. Supply each TP segment from an M/P960.1 or smaller PSU sized to bus load. For TP-only line coupling without Ethernet, use HDL line couplers in the same KNX system-devices family.
