The HDL-MIR01L.01 Infrared Code Learner is a USB accessory for capturing IR commands from standard remote controls. Learn keys from TVs, DVDs, set-top boxes, air conditioners, amplifiers, and satellite receivers, then upload codes to the HDL M/IRAC.1 KNX Infrared Emitter via HDL KNX Assistant Software.
The learner is driver-free USB 2.0 with a learning status LED and built-in IR send test to verify codes before deployment. Carrier frequency is 38 kHz ± 20 %, matching consumer IR equipment and HDL emitters.

Operating environment and software pairing steps are listed under Technical Specifications. Full IR emitter wiring is in the M/IRAC.1 datasheet.
The MIR01L.01 is required when codes are not in the built-in AC database. The M/IRAC.1 performs bus-connected transmission; the learner is used at the PC during installation only. For Buspro wireless IR, HDL offers separate wireless emitter models — the MIR01L.01 targets KNX M/IRAC.1 workflows.
