The HDL Infrared Emission Probe is a compact IR blaster accessory for the HDL M/IRAC.1 KNX Infrared Emitter. It extends infrared coverage by placing the emitting LED close to TVs, set-top boxes, air conditioners, and AV equipment while the emitter module remains in the distribution area or wall box.

The M/IRAC.1 ships with one emission tube; additional HDL IR probes are used when multiple zones or cabinets need targeted IR — for example, one probe per display stack or HVAC indoor unit. Install the probe within the emitter's effective range per the M/IRAC.1 datasheet (7 m emission distance, 38 kHz carrier).

Choosing HDL IR Accessories

Order the IR Probe when one bundled tube on M/IRAC.1 is not enough. The emitter stores 960 IR codes (150 general + 810 AC); probes only extend physical reach. For learning new codes, use the HDL-MIR01L.01 with HDL KNX Assistant Software.
