The Interra ITR400-0001 is a conventional (non-KNX) water flood / leak detector for basements, plant rooms, water tanks, under-sink zones and other concealed areas where water-based liquids can seep unnoticed. Detection uses a sensing probe that extends downward up to 25 cm; when conductivity confirms water at the probes, the unit can alert locally via buzzer, two-colour LED and a relay output (NO / NC / common).

Power is 12–27 V DC (polarity-independent per datasheet) with about 50 mA in alarm at 12 V. An optional MN21 12 V battery path supports multi-year standby life. Alarm delay is set by jumpers: immediate / 3 s / 6 s. Bring the dry contact onto KNX with a binary input such as ITR112-0000, or choose the native bus model ITR401-0001 when ETS objects are preferred.

Choosing and Commissioning

Place the probe where pooling starts first; keep the IP20 body dry. Wire 12–27 V DC and the relay to your controller or binary input. Set LED / buzzer / delay jumpers before sealing the install.
