The ABB QA/S 3.16.1 EQmatic Energy Analyzer is a 4 MW MDRC M-Bus master that logs, stores, displays, and analyses consumption from up to 16 electricity, gas, water, or heat meters. Access is via a built-in HTTPS web server — not a KNX TP application device (that role is QA/S 1.xx.1).

ABB EQ A- and B-series meters are detected automatically during the scan. Other M-Bus slaves are configured in the browser. For larger M-Bus plants use QA/S 3.64.1 (64 meters).

Installation Notes

Mount on 35 mm DIN rail (4 MW). Wire 100 … 240 V AC and M-Bus (screw terminals). Connect LAN; commission with the browser wizard (i-bus Tool can read the factory IP). This analyser does not occupy a KNX address.
