The Schneider Electric MTN644592 is an 8-channel KNX binary input (REG-K/8×10) for connecting conventional push-buttons, floating contacts, and dry contacts to a KNX installation. The device generates an internal SELV contact voltage (electrically isolated from the bus) for safe, reliable signal acquisition.

Each input supports switching, dimming, and blind functions via one or two contacts, with pulse edges (1-, 2-, 4-, or 8-bit), 2-byte telegrams, and 8-bit blind positioning. Status yellow LEDs show input level; a green LED indicates readiness. The 4-module unit (≈ 70 mm) mounts on DIN rail with plug-in screw terminals and cable runs up to 50 m per input.
