The ABB BE/S10.20.3.2 KNX Binary Input is a high-density modular device (MDRC) that scans 10 independent potential-free (floating) contacts and publishes their states on the ABB i-bus® KNX network. Contact scanning uses an internally generated pulsed scanning voltage (35 V), so no external supply is required at the input terminals — the module is powered entirely from the KNX bus.
Each channel has a manual operation pushbutton for testing and override during commissioning. Input states are indicated by yellow LEDs. The device supports KNX Data Secure for encrypted telegram communication on secure-enabled KNX lines.

Every KNX line requires a dedicated power supply with integrated choke. For small lines with few inputs and actuators, the SV/S 30.160.1.1 KNX Power Supply 160 mA may suffice. For IP backbone connectivity, pair with an IPR/S3.5.1 KNX IP Router Secure or IPR/S3.1.1 KNX IP Router.
