The ABB IPS/S 3.5.1 KNX IP Interface Secure (order code 2CDG110204R0011) connects the KNX bus with the Ethernet network and encrypts communication using the KNXnet/IP Secure protocol for tunneling. KNX devices can be programmed via LAN with ETS; five Secure Tunneling Servers are available for ETS and further clients that support Secure tunneling.

Like the non-secure IPS/S3.1.1, it is an MDRC 2 MW device (net weight 0.1 kg) with power via 12…30 V DC or PoE (IEEE 802.3af class 1) — typically from ISP/S8.1.1.1 or CP-D 24/2.5.
