The ABB PMA/A1.1 Surface-Mounted Box is the ceiling housing for ABB/Busch-Jaeger HF movement and presence detectors when a recessed Ø 68 mm cut-out is not available. Choose white matt or black matt below to match the detector finish.

Use with PMH/U2.1.1, PMH/U4.5.1, BMH/U2.1.1, and BMH/U2.55.1. For flush boxes see PMA/K1.1 (British Standard) and PMA/K2.1 (VDE).

Applications

• Concrete / no cut-out: Surface-mount PMH or BMH where a Ø 68 mm hole is not possible.
• Retrofit ceilings: Keep the detector on the finished surface.
• Flush alternative: BS box PMA/K1.1 or VDE box PMA/K2.1.

Installation Notes

Fix the box to the ceiling, route KNX into the housing, then clip the detector head. Match −884/−885 to the detector colour. Follow the BMH/PMH installation PDF in Downloads for hole-free surface mounting.
