The ABB DG/S 8.1 DALI Gateway (order code DG/S8.1) provides eight independent DALI channels for standard DT0 luminaires — up to 16 devices per channel (128 total). It is the multi-channel, broadcast-oriented gateway when individual DALI addressing and Premium DT8/colour features are not required.

For addressed DALI-2 with colour/HCL/emergency, use Premium DG/S1.64.5.1 or DG/S2.64.5.1.

Installation Notes

Mount on a 35 mm DIN rail (6 MW). Connect KNX and the eight DALI channel pairs per the installation manual. Import the official .knxprod from Downloads; keep channels electrically separate.
