The ABB ABZ/S 2.1 Application Unit Time (order code ABZ/S2.1) is a 2 MW MDRC yearly time switch for ABB i-bus® KNX. It provides 15 daily routines (up to 800 switching events), a weekly schedule, and 100 special days — plus macro groups so one time event can drive a chain of actions.

Up to 300 participants in 30 macro groups can be triggered by a single command. Switching times can also be adjusted with the free PZM software without reopening ETS. For graphical logic see ABL/S2.1; for large ETS logic controllers see ABA/S1.2.1.
